DYMN Gatherings provide access to authors, leaders, and thinkers across denominational borders to dialogue with about trends in youth culture, personal identity, theology, exegesis, and faith development for young people.To provide maximum access to the keynoter for participants, and to foster conversation DYMN Gatherings have limited space.

Scholarships

Through a grant from Disciples Home Missions, DYMN is able to offer a limited number of scholarships to help defray the registration cost of the 2011 event. These are offered to those needing assistance on a first come first served basis. Please direct requests to Julie Richardson Brown (jerichbrown@gmail.com). Please indicate: Your name, name of the congregation you serve, if you are attending a DYMN gathering for the first time, and a brief description of your circumstance for need.

2012 Featured Speaker: Sandy Sasso

Sandy Eisenberg Sasso is Rabbi of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is the author of God’s Paintbrush, In God’s Name, For Heaven’s Sake, Cain and Abel: Finding the Fruits of Peace, God’s Echo: Exploring Scripture with Midrash and A Prayer for the Earth (now titled Noah’s Wife: The Story of Na’amah) as well as many other works (Google her, it’s worth it!) She is active in leadership in the Indianapolis area religious / academic scene and she regularly lectures at Butler University and Christian Theological Seminary. She was the first woman ordained from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and the first to serve a Conservative congregation together with her husband, Rabbi Dennis C. Sasso. They are also parents of two children, David and Debbie.
